WWF EURYTHENES PLASTICUS
THE SHRIMP THAT DROVE 110K PETITION SIGNS through an educational deep-dive campaign into its tragic reality.
Germany produced around 6.2 million tons of plastic waste in 2017. Despite being some of the best recyclers in the world, Germany exported 114,000 tons of plastic rubbish to Malaysia (Jan-Oct 2018)
WWF announces 'The first species named after the ocean plastic contaminating it': "EURYTHENES PLASTICUS".
The WWF in partnership with Dr. Alan Jamieson, discovered a new species discovered at 6,500m below the sea—and it was found to be contaminated by ocean plastic.
We took an actionable approach to the scientific publication and transformed that into a user deep-dive journey though interactive and educational ads and organic activations driving to the petition.
