For the Johan Erdmann Hummel exhibition - Magical reflections - at the old national gallery in Berlin we created a
VR EXPERIENCE that bridges VISUAL ARTS & VIRTUAL ARTS. The experience enables you to virtually step inside Erdmann Hummel's masterpiece - The Granite Dish in Berlin's Lustgarten - and immerse yourself into VIRTUAL PHOTOGRAPHY.

As you wander through the 3D environment the user can activate the 'VR photo mode', compose a shot, play with the camera settings, before–finally–you press the shutter and eternalise the virtual moment into a virtual gallery. An experience that captures both the spirit of Erdmann Hummel's work and virtual photography which reflects on reinterpretations of arts in today's digital art and society.
